The oldest of four children, Aurora is the only one that was actually born on Earth. However, she has spent the vast majority of her existence trapped within the alternate realm with her people, struggling to find a way to escape and return home. |
Aurora is a member of the light clan, giving her the ability to create and control fire. It is rumored that she also has the ability to slow the rising and the falling of the sun, though there is no record of any light clan member performing this amazing feat. Similar to the wind clan, she also has the ability to fly, but can do it without wings. Since she was born, Aurora has been groomed for the role of Queen. She was taught to be fair, but cold, reserved, and ruthless. It was believed by her parents that only a strong ruler would succeed in freeing the naturi from their cage. Rowe became Aurora’s consort 1308, shortly before she ascended to the throne of her people. However, he was sent to Earth in the 1500s when the door between the worlds was briefly opened. His job was to command the legions that got through the opening and work to once again open the doorway so that the rest of the naturi could escape. Standing close to six feet tall, Aurora looks as if she is made of golden light. Her long blond hair falls over her shoulder in waves and her skin is a flawless white. The color of her eyes matches that of a pale blue iceberg floating slowly up from the Antarctic. Her frame is thin and willowy like that of a young sapling. She is the life and energy of her people, falling second only to the power of the Earth itself. |
