Mira has spent most of her existence as an outsider. Beyond her above-average height, red hair, and violet eyes, she possesses the ability to create and manipulate fire. Proclaimed a monster and a spawn of the devil, she has been feared and hated by both humans and nightwalkers.
In general, Mira is impatient, hot tempered, and stubborn. Yet, these passionate qualities have enabled her to survive more centuries than any might have expected. She is extremely strong and powerful for her age, as well as positively lethal in a fight.
In 1401, Mira was kidnapped by Sadira from her home in Greece. She lived with the nightwalker for roughly four years as a human. However, Sadira finally offered to make Mira a nightwalker in 1405, fearing that the Black Plague that was sweeping through much of Europe would steal away Mira’s life.
Mira spent her first century with Sadira as a part of her family. While arrangement was far from a happy one, Mira knew of no other and lacked the strength to escape. At the end of her first century, Mira was kidnapped by the naturi and held for two weeks before she was finally liberated by Jabari.
For the next one hundred years, Mira lived with Jabari in Egypt, spending most of her time in Alexandria or Luxor. When Mira left Jabari, she returned to Europe, where she traveled and lived alone for the majority of the time.
Near the end of the nineteenth century, Mira finally left Europe, tired of the control of the Coven and the older nightwalkers, and traveled to the New World to make a home for herself. After several years of traveling through the United States, Mira finally settled in Savannah, Georgia, where she quickly became Keeper of that domain.
